Sharing a space #

A shared space is an issue space its owner has opened to other people, each signed in with a Turn Zero account of their own. Every member's sessions then work the same space, beside the owner's.

Owner and members #

The owner of a space is the account that holds it, and the owner alone shares it. The owner adds people with share, giving the email address each person's existing Turn Zero account signs in with. If no account matches the address, the call is refused no_such_account and nothing is kept: there is no pending invitation, and nothing matches when someone signs in later. The owner also removes members and lists them with share.

The space keeps one row per member: their account, the level the owner gave, and when they were added. The level is one of three:

Level A member can
report Raise issues, find them, and read them. A raise at this level gives no priority, labels, or requirements.
contribute Work issues as well: update them, comment on them, claim them, set what they wait on, give them back, and fetch the space's cache. share gives this level where none is named.
owner Every act on the space's issues, closing and reopening them among it. Sharing the space stays the owner's alone.

share answers the members and users, the count of members plus the owner, which is the space's user count.

How a member connects #

Each member signs in once, with their own account, through their own AI tool. The project's setting file then connects them: it gives the shared space, so their sessions work it with no further step, at the level the owner gave. A member who holds no space of their own and one shared space works that space without passing it in calls. A member's own token for the space, minted through Turn Zero Cloud, has no more than that level.

Feedback to Turn Zero about the space stays the owner's alone; a member's call to read or settle it is refused.

When access ends #

Every call reads the caller's own standing with tzTrack on every space and, on a shared space, the owner's as well. A removed member is refused at their next call, and so is every member of a space whose owner no longer holds tzTrack.

A person without an account #

A person without a Turn Zero account creates one. While sign-ups are closed, Turn Zero invites them. No account holder invites another; the owner adds the person once their account exists.

Waiting for one member #

In a shared space, an issue can wait for one member: its waiting for is person:<account>, the member's account id, the owner's or a member's. Any other id is refused invalid_request. The value person still means the space's owner.
