Billing

Billing is a package whose product statement covers recording balances, credits, allowances, rate cards, purchases, measured usage, and charges. A rate card converts metered units into money. No part of the package is served: it has no code and no version.

Use it when

Billing's subject is an application that sells plans, credits, metered usage, or another entitlement whose use must be recorded consistently.

Do not use it as a payment form. Its subject is the whole billing record and the rules that change it.

What it provides

Nothing. The package's scope, in its product statement, is the billing record the opening paragraph lists and the rules that change it.

Availability

Billing is not in the published library. list_library does not list it, and read_library_entry refuses its name with no_such_entry. Its integration guide is a stub, and no code or tests exist for it.

Billing depends on Account, because every balance and charge belongs to an identified account.
